This is a large German coffee tin from the Pfeiffer und Dillers Company.
It is from the 1930's - 1940's era. It is an 11" long x 6 1/4" wide x 4 1/4" high metal box with a hinged lid. The lid has a little chain that holds it open. The markings on it Kaffee ~ Zusaltz ~ Essenz translates to Coffee Essence Addition. Still in good condition with only a little wear to the painted areas and some small dings and scratches.
