Made to resemble ancient Roman vessels, this is one of the older decors created by Loetz. Imbedded within the glass walls is a gold foil. The rim and handles look carved but are most likely molded and enamelled in a heavy verdigris green to simulate aged copper. The ground is light green with a soft iridescence.
