Pictured here are some old safety pins still on their sales cards. The first one is Stewart's Duplex Safety Pins No. 00 made by the Consolidated Safety Pin Co. in Bloomfield, NJ. These are made of brass and the card is holding the full dozen pins. I could find nothing in my searches except advertisements and the logo on the bottom of the card with the baby in a diaper is the same as a 1909 advertisement logo. The second set is Justrite Safety Pins No. 2 which I think are plated brass since they are non-magnetic. There are only 10 of the original one dozen. I could find no information on the manufacturer or era of these pins either. Not even an advertisement. The Justrite pins may be from the 1930's or 40's.
