These are some German hunting hat pins from the late 1950's. The one to the right is an elk carved into white plastic and the rim edge is painted brown. Next is a pewter pin with a hunters hat and pick-axe. There is an edelweiss flower with the center painted gold and the town Stuttgart painted in red. Below that another pewter with an elk or deer standing on a pick-axe again with an edelweiss with gold center. On the bottom is a coil of rope and the ribbon says Munchen (Munich). The next one is pewter with a pheasant with a rifle among oak leaves and hanging down is a white ornament which I think is made from a tooth (it is not plastic). On the top right this pewter pin depicts another elk with a rifle and a hunters pouch. The bottom right pewter pin is a small pheasant in a pine branch with pinecone and a hooked walking stick. The ribbon also says Munchen (Munich). My dad brought these back from Germany in 1958 and they used to be on a green felt hat that he would always wear to the annual Oktoberfest celebration in town. The case is just something I found to display them.
