Herman F. Lux inventor. Patented April 16, 1935. Terms of patent 7 years. Pat. No. D-95,184.
Lux rotary (tape) clock, time only.
The top of the box states, "THE FIRST DIFFERENT CLOCK IN CENTURIES".
Inside the box lid the Guarantee calls it the MYSTERY CLOCK.
The tag on one side states, "The Modern Clock without hands", opposite side, "Rotary Clock $5.00.

    You almost never see the original box anymore. Very nice item!

    Is this the 5 inch model or the 3 inch model? The reason I ask is that both of my boxes have "Mystery Clock" on the outside of the box. If it is a 3 incher it is rarer than the 5 inch ones. I have two Cream and Brown in color with the original boxes, both 5 inchers. I do own 1 blue 3 inch one without the box though and a 5 inch gun metal grey one.
