I purchased this 13" lamp at a local estate auction knowing the base was a Handel. However, the shade is another matter. It's very heavy and the patina of the leading matches the original patina of the base which lends me to believe that the shade was made around the same time as the base. The opening of the shade fits perfectly onto the heat cap and the leading mimics tree branches. Is it possible the shade does belong with the base? Does anyone have any information on the shade? I see no maker's mark or signature.
Thanks so much for any info you can give.
