Kerry, your the man on these watches.
I found a box of Mickey Mouse parts and this was in a seperate bag in the box. I don't work on watches or clocks. When I had the chance to learn from my uncle years ago, I didn't have the time. Now that I'm old & retired & have time, he's not here to teach me.
My question is, do all these parts look like they should go together?
The Dial is 42.95 mm.
Above the 12 is: 7 jewels
Below the 6 is: Walt Disney Productions
The movement is 26.83 mm and marked:
17 seventeen (deffinatly not what the dial states)
jewels unadjusted
Swiss Made
Marcel Watch
Corp. ZZ
The case is a screw on back & beael
Is this worth trying to save?
Thanks,
Dave

This would be a "Frankenwatch" for sure, it would make a neat one all-in-all. The dial is from a 7 jewel Bradley , and the "Deco" basil and back would be pretty neat all together. Would be one of a kind and looks as if all would slide right together. You'd be the only one with one. The only trouble I see might be the hands not fitting, they might slide right on, who knows without having it in hand. If you wanted this put together and placed with your "Folk Art Mickey" it would be a great conversation piece. And if all of it falls together as i think it should, I'd do it for you.
Kerry,
Thanks for the offer. If you can email me where to send it, I will mail it off first chance I get. Also I can send you some pictures of the parts I have and you can see if you can use them. Do you also work on dollar watches?
Thanks,
Dave
