Sorry to say clock does not work. I bought it long time ago just for the case & because it's a Gilbert. Never have found anything like it. Has a paper slip on back which saysWm.L.Gilbert Clock Co. 37 & 39 Maiden Lane, New York 131_137 Wabash Ave. Chicago, Ill. Boston, Phil.,San Franciso, USA. Can't be old, but just never saw a Gilbert with that label before. I thought all of them said Winsted, Ct.
