Continuation of specific parts from the show and tell of my Mistress. See link in comments (below).
Two things I've not seen any where. Eagle emblems and Ball Hitch accents.
I would like to replace rather than repair a couple accent pieces, but I can't seem to find them any where. The following discriptions are accent pieces for my Rare Harley Davidson 1984 FLHX ElectraGlide Special Edition (The Mistress). Only 467 of these Bikes were produced. I can only locate 5 in the U.S. and one in Japan (only 3 of these are Black). NONE of them have the accent pieces as are on my Mistress.
The Eagle emblems:
I have seen Eagle emblems that are a cast metal, however I've not seen any as what are on my Mistress. The diffeence is that these are not simply 'raised' emblems, the Eagles are partially three demensional. When you look close at the Eagles Head, it looks to be pulling out of the back ground as if to be taking off.
In all, I have many such metal emblems on various parts, but for identification reasons, I am only posting this one pic.
Ball Hitch accents:
This is another item that I flat cannot find ANY WHERE. I've looked all over e-bay, collector sites, vintage bike part sites, and hours of Google searches. I just can't find anything close.
The accents are at the end of each handle, but are part of a theme that is carried to other part of the Bike as well.
Lord do I pray that I never loose any of these accents - The Eagles or Ball Hitches. I don't know if it would be possible to ever find any replacements.
If anyone can help, I would be forever Gratefull.
Ride well, Ride Safe.
