Twenty-pound minimum vintage pedestal ashtray. Cut crystal for the actual "tray". Body is bronze, and it has the marking of 5724 engraved as a number and the letter SC engraved in another corner.

Once again, I have no knowledge of year, maker, et cetera.

    I'm just a luck collector.

Anyone have anything similar? Know anything about it?
I collect vintage ashtrays, but this one's unique

The ashtray is the Early American Prescut Pattern (also referred to as EAPC or Star of David) by Anchor Hocking...I'm guessing it's the 7 3/4" size. I think the metal work is an after-market kind of thing. I have often seen EAPC glass pieces paired with metal bases/trays, etc. I don't have much knowledge about the metal part of this but it's a pretty cool looking item! Enjoy it!

Just wonder why they would put a pretty generic ashtray on a stamped, metal piece.

Does anyone know anything else about this? I have one as well and can’t find any other information.
