Hi, here's a link that might help you with your search.
http://www.askart.com/AskART/search/Search.aspx?SearchType=Artist&LastName=Powell&FirstName=G.&Action=SubmitButton
Beautiful dog!
I checked the link:
No matches were found for 'Powell' in our database of 200,000 painters, sculptors and illustrators.
Thanks!
There was dutch school painter named G. Powell born 1885 died sometimes in late 20th.
Hi, you're most welcome! I'm intrigued. Are you affiliated with askart.com?
I looked in askart, and found some Powells - to be vetted. Artists often use variants of their legal name, or a nickname as first name, when signing. If you're affliated with askart though, you already know this, and probably know it even if you're not affiliated with it.
I think your search is going to be a tough one. Best wishes for success! Regards, miKKo
Dave, thanks for the info. I would like to check further into that.
Where did you find the information?
