I went back to the Christie antique show really close to 5pm (when the show was about to end) and was able to score this sign! I was told its a Canadian masonite scoreboard for curling made some time between 1939-1941. I figured it was prob a pretty rare Canadian sign or atleast hard to find sign so didnt wanna leave it behind. I can't seem to find this sign in any of my price guides wondering how I did. If anyone has any info on this sign please let me know.

I don't think you'll find this sign in any price guides since these were usually made by regional bottlers for specific events. I looked at it today too. Very cool sign.
Great find Trev!
Thanks Perry, I have not had a chance to clean it yet im not really sure what i should use. I usually use mr. clean majic eraser but im pretty sure it will pull the paint off this masonite sign. any suggestions on what to use to clean this masonite sign?
come on Trev, you already know you did good. Here's the math...(Rare +good price+ great condition = good deal)

Fantastic Sign Trev! I've not see one like it. It's great to have unique pieces, and you have yourself a beauty with this one. Curling! Too cool. Well Done!
Thanks Dave and everyone else for leaving their comments, at first I was abit worried about getting this sign, it didn't seem like anyone liked it but me because it sat at the Christie show all day until the last 10min and than i was able to buy it. Thanks Ray! and thanks leighannrn, and Chevelleman69.
Hey Ray. Did you find anything on Saturday?
Thanks pemberton1886!
Sorry I never answered you back on the cleaning question Trevor. Here's what I would do, considering the masonite and the fragility of the paint and age, Take some anti bacterial soap on your finger and gently see if you can remove any of the chalk powder off the board. Staying completely clear of the paint! We don't want anything happening to that! It only takes a very small amount of antibacterial soap to work. If this doesn't remove any of the powder, I would stop and leave it alone.
