I love my new blown clear glass jug and wanted to share. It has lovely elegant presence.
I just won it on a Kiwi auction site for only!!!... $10.00. I believe it to be and have been told that it is possibly c1900. I just love the honeycomb cut design to the throat and the "muffin top" round to the bottom of the neck. Why?... would you go out and buy a new modern assembly line glass jug!!!

If I bought a jug today, I hope it would look like this classic !~ Phil.
Many thanks Phil - for your love and lovely comment and mocean - bratjdd for your love!....:-)
Very nice quality and cutting and you got a bargain. It could even date earlier than 1900, I'd date it to the last quarter of the 19th century. Depending on size/capacity it could be a claret pitcher, which often had this ewer form.
Thank you Paul 71!.... I am thrilled! with your comment. When filled to the rim it holds just over 1300.5mls. It stands '24.5cm' tall. You get these feelings about items, and you have your fingers crossed when buying on line, and it's wonderful to find they were right It really is a lovely looking jug and I love it.
Many thanks mocean and bratjdd!....:-)
