I checked on google images to see the 1955 studebaker and it's the exact same hood ornaments, by the way thanks for the links, I'll see it tomorrow
darn it packrat, i guess i should have known this one. But my 1953 hawk only has the "winged S" on the hood. The 1964 golden hawk just has the "S" on the chrome rad. trim.
