I am trying to identify the origins of this cool little figurine. It is heavy and feels as though it were polished from a single natural stone. There are some markings on the feet, somewhat faded. Looking to ID.

I have a small collection of Eskimo carvings, and this one looks authentic. I can't see what the numbers/letters on the bottom are, but most "real" Innuit art has some type of letters incised into it. Better yet if it has a sticker that authenticates it (Canadian Eskimo Arts Guild) or something like that - the guild was formed to help protect artists from exploitation.
