Well heres Saturdays stunning fine. Guess you can call in audio nirvana. This was the top of the top of the line in 1961. I found this built into a wall of a midcentury home in the Piedmont hills. I went there to check out a pair of speakers, when I went searching for the components, I was shocked to see a C20. I then looked for the lady running it, I told her I would like to buy it. She said the owner wouldn't it sold because it was built in. After I shouted an offer of a large amount of money, she said well the owner won't mind it for that! A few jaws dropped too, After I got it all home I got OMG I paid that. Well after I removed the paneling hiding the amp, I feel off the stool when I say a MC275. I rushed everything to the car. Time to check out them speakers. They are a pair of mint janszen electrostatic speakers, and get this the ac cords were never plugged in. Well I have a big job ahead of me restoring it all. But it was one of my amazing finds! Oh and who knows what would have happened to it if I didn't get it. The stagger was coming it to paint all the walnut paneling in the family room.
