12 old pre 1950s i think puppet need to id them

hi these puppetts were recently found buried in a loft that has not seen the light of day since the 1960s there are 12 in total they measure between 100mm and 160 mm high made of wood feet elasitic attached to the arms and legs they seem to have a ceramic material face a single metal bar in the back and cloth clothes there are two twines that can move the hands only just trying to id them and who the characatures could be im 47 yrs old but i can not ever remember seeing these any help to id these would be appreciated
