Thornton-Pickard. | All Weather Press Camera. | 1920-21. | Other. | 5 x 4 inch.
Catalogue No. 0208.
Wooden body covered in black leather. Single fold bellows. The "Ruby" Focal Plane Shutter wind knob is flat on this model, produced in this form only for the year 1920-21, then re-designed with pre-set roller tension. Extensively "repaired" before it came to me, mainly by way of non-original modification, which will be reversed as far as possible. I sometimes wonder why I bother with cameras in this terrible condition; the answer is that like Mount Everest, "they are there", and better ones are not. Come on, they only made this for one year....90 years ago. It has to be worth saving from the tip.

Thanks all for "Love"-ing this poor thing! It certainly needs some love in its present state.
