UPDATES IN BOLD/MAY 2012Quit my job working at a really prosperous Barbershop just outside Richmond, Virginia in hopes of starting my own shop.SINCE OWNED THEN SOLD MY SHOP Never really travelled the United States and dont have any ties so Im just checking out America!WENT COAST TO COAST AND RETURNED TO VA! In the meantime, a few months ago I found a 1930's era Barber Back Bar. This is the picture from the Antique store I found it in. The store had set up a "mock" barbershop to showcase the piece. Its now in storage, just waiting for a home! Its about 23' long x 8' tall. Includes the Oak facade, beveled mirrors, cabinets with marble countertops and baseboards. By the way, the backbar was manufactured by the Koken Barberchair company of St Louis, Missouri. I thought it would be cool to find some era pieces to decorate the barbershop in too.FOUND SOME AWESOME PIECES, AMONG THEM A 20s NCR (maybe a 20 or 30s era NCR cash register) Id love to find a moderately sized town to set up shop doing what I love...barbering! Could your hometown use a really cool barbershop that just so happens to come with a great barber too?!?STILL LOOKING FOR MY DREAM TOWN/CITY Friend me on Facebook, Jason Romage, jason_roma@hotmail.com if you have any ideas/suggestions!

Love the back bar. I think the 30-40's era look would be very authentic for this equipment... Maybe even add a shoe shine station for added effect. This will make an awesome shop somewhere :)
Just wow! I love it and would hang around your shop just for the atmosphere.
As a matter of fact this would be super lovely in a home large enough for it. I know but I love it!
Hello. I am currently putting a business together and am looking for a barber to help. I would like to talk more to you but can't figure out a way without publishing my email. Anythoughts. I love that barbershop bar back. Is it for sale?
