This is a Gruen SemiThin marked Switzerland.
I normally don't pick up Swiss movement pocket watches but
I really liked the shape of the case on this one.
Case marked:
Gruen
SemiThin
14 Karat
Gold Filled
Wadsworth
Shape PAT 12.9,24
3027597
Movement serial number is 22711
758 I believe is the movement grade but I don't see it listed in the Watch Guide Book, Gruen Movement Identification page that I have.
Any information will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

I have quite a few watches, but none this shape. Proof of ergonomics in the early 20th century. Great watch!
Thanks jimborasco,
This movement is marked SIXTEEN16JEWELS. I see in the complete guide to watches book movements listed 15J & 17-21J. Can you give me any informaton on this 16J ?
