My friend Pete took up photography in the early twenties. I found a lot of negatives. I had some prints made of a few. These were taken in San Francisco. Do you know where they were taken? When I blow up the gas station, you can see men working inside.

Photo #3 above:
This is upper Market St near Valencia St.
The taller building up from the gas station has an advertisement for R. Knight & Son Furniture at 665 Valencia St. and a hand with finger pointing to turn left.
Valencia St. is west of Mission Street and starts south of Market St. between Mission & Guerrero Streets. Valencia St. does not continue north of Market St. according to the map I am looking at.

Love the old pictures.
It's too bad you had to blow up the gas station with the men still inside. ;-))
