A few weeks ago, Czechman asked for help with the identification of a soft iridescent blue tazza. A few of us went for Kralik.

Loetz produced a similar decor--vessels rolled in powdered glass-- and called it Silberiris. It salient characteristic: bright metallic iridescence.

Kralik created vessels with same technique, but with a soft kind of iridescence. Members of the Glasshounds played around with a name for it. There was no doubt it was a kind of Silberiris, but the iridescence was totally different. Since Loetz had used the word "Glatt" to mark non-metallic iridescence, we finally decided on Glatt Silberiris. The pictures show the color range. There is a fifth one, a light green. Please notice the shapes, which appear in other decors such as Silveria (pics. 1, 3). There are also shade variations within a color.

The soft iridescence and colors truly look so sublime in their beauty!

There is a concerted effort by people associated with the Passaum Museum to reclassify all of this Czech glass as German Heckert.

Does the tendril decor on the left have a form attribution number/name? We have a similar perfume and nearly didn't notice the shape under all the overlay.

Not really. I'd love to see a pic. of the perfume.
