This planter is almost 3 ft long and i think it's very old. a woman saw it the other day and said that they are a dime a dozen in mexico, but i live in mex part-time and i am always searching the craft markets for interesting planters, etc. and i've never seen one like this there. i've seen other pig planters which are obviously new, but they don't have this kind of craftsmanship, character and interesting decoration. a friend found it in the trash the other day and brought it to me - covered in cobwebs. there are signs of moss growing on it, but it has been dry for a very long time. would anyone care to guess the age? or does anyone have some info on it? thanks!
