A fellow collector was wondering if there were any feathered yellow Rindskopsfs. There are. And interestingly, they all sows the same teechnique: yellow glass covered in clear, with colorless oil spots and beige/gray feathering, either applied in concentric splashes (pic 1) or, more traditionally, flowing from the top (pics. 2,3,4).
Pict2 shows a a size comparison. The tall is 13", as are the other yellows.I have also had in in 8"( see above) and in 6.5" (which I have kept). On of the charms of collecting Rindskopf resides in having the same vase in several sizes. I prefer very tall or very small.
Pic. 3 shows a characteristic Rindskopf shape, which I also have in at least two other decors.
Pic.4 shows a rare variation (only one I have fond so far) in matte light green with gray/brown feathering, slightly smaller than its companion piece, and cut from the top. As usual, this type does not have a pontil,
as do all the others.
Rindskopf remains my personal favorite among all the Czech glass making companies.
