I've had this tiny little pin-cap gun for several years. I don't know the maker, it's marked only Austria on the barrel top. It has a 1/2" long hexagon barrel. Lots of engraving on the grip area. It's a break-open single shot, only 1 1/2" long, with working hammer & trigger. Most of these capguns fire from a small port just above the barrel, but this one fires right through the barrel itself. Any info on the maker would be much appreciated, Thank you!

You have a 2mm pinfire watch fob pistols. They fire a 2mm blank cartridge and are very loud for their size. Most of these are on average 1-5/8" in overall length. The early ones, circa 1890's were manufactured in Austria and Germany, they were also manufactured in France, or Belgium, Japan, Mexico & USA. There are various names given these, (French) Breloque, Pistolet Brelogue, (German) Berloque, Pistolet MAUS, Charm Pistols, Watch Fobs. Most of them have a ring at the bottom of the grip or in the hammer so they can be attached to a pocket watch chain, but there are others that do not have this feature and are just miniature pinfire pistols.
These are very neat and collectable. I will show some of mine since we now have a "cap gun" section. I have some shown in the pocket watch section with my watches.
    Thanks for showing yours,

I've seen pictures of some that had what looked like maybe a deer engraved on them. Some of those were more recent versions, some could be older. This one came from my dad and maybe my grand parents before him. I know this one is pretty old as far as these little pin-caps go.
    Thanks for the comment!
