Boy scouts have been a major part of our country, providing our boys and young men, adventure, excitement, and achievement. Providing once-in-a-lifetime experiences that prepare them for a lifetime of opportunity and success.
Here is what I believe is an early boy scout watch, I think made by the Ansonia Clock Co.
Dial marked:
SCOUTS' COMPASS WATCH
MADE IN U.S.A.
The back cover has a compass in the center.
I am not certain of the date of manufacture but Ansonia began making watches in 1904 according to Townsend's dollar watch book.
Thanks for looking,
Dave
