Vintage Kenmore 1950's Jr. Portable Wringer Washing Machine, By Sears Roebuck And Company. Measures 15" Tall to top of tub and 24" to top of wringer And 14" Wide. Made Of White Enamel. It is just right size for my 36" 1950's Patty Playpal type doll to do her own laundry . It 's a fully working machine and I have used it to wash doll clothes :-) I keep it in basement but it would fit on a counter top .
I have no clue where a category is for this so I picked random ones :-) on top by wringer is a logo that says JR.

I've been busy and haven't been to this site in a month or two. Just read the posts from 11 days ago and learned about the controversy. I'm very glad you're still here! Hope you're feeling better, too. I'm going to have to read the posts again because it hasn't all sunk in yet. When posting a comment, I see they've added "free of solicitations to buy or sell." It's good your controversy brought some constructive dialogue and needed changes, but sorry you had to put up with the undeserved stress. Having said that.....I love this washing machine and how cute you stood the doll next to it!

Very cool Mani!! My Mom used to wash close with a full sized one like this.I still have a scar on the base of my thumb from when I was little and tried to wring out a tiny piece of paper that was floating in the water. Those wringers grabbed my thumb and pulled it in quicker than spit...Yep I learned a lesson that day !

gee hedge I used one of these growing up and I loved it . It was fun I thought LOL yes I am strange. My grandmother kept it outside and we washed clothes with it outside till winter then you had to have stock piled all your clothes for winter no washing then . I saw a kid ot 2 get a hand through one :-) This one is nice because it is small and not apt to put hand in it :-) Thanks for the love !!!!!!!!!

Wow is not very elegant, but it is descriptive, and this piece amazing. It just brings out the goopy slang! So glad you have it!

Thank you Scandi :-) I think it must have been for small area's . But it would really hurt your arm to crank all the clothes through load after load . I had another that was smaller but it got lost in a move :-(
Yes I put the dolls to work no laying around all day here :-)
