I bought this genuine made kukri from Nepal. It is 13" in length and weighs around 2 lbs. It is made in a design of the 'Aitihasik' style which was the type used in the 18th century Goorkha soldiers. I've used it in my jungle trekking and it served me well. The blade is thick and heavy, so care need to be exercised when handling it. This is one of my prized collection.
