1911 Dictograph substation candlestick telephone. Kelly M Turner inventor and president of General Acoustics Co formed the Dictograph Product's Co Inc in 1902 to handle the telephone part of the business. He patented the basics of their system. The company and the Dictograph name were registered in 1907.
