We found these in a box my mother had given me some time ago. They make us laugh when we take them out to look at.

Very nice!!! I owned a Winston Churchill Loving Cup made by Royal Doulton some years back and still have several plates and figurines from Doulton. These Napkin rings are wonderfull indeed. Royal Doulton pieces are timeless!!

The first is Sairey Gamp, the second is Joe the Fat Boy, the third is Sam Weller, the fourth is Tony Weller, the fifth Mr Pickwick, the sixth Mr Micawber.
Use with extreme care! They came in boxes of two, four and six.
A complete set of six is very desirable.
I think they are great pieces of Doulton seriesware by Leslie Harradine.
On the net there are some sets at very high RETAIL prices.

      2. Fat Boy Napkin Ring M59 (blue shirt; brass buttons) Size: 3.5"H from: The Pickwick Papers
      3. Sam Weller Napkin Ring M61 (dark brown hat; yellow waistcoat; red kerchief; pale blue shirt) Size: 3.5"H from: The Pickwick Papers
      4. Tony Weller Napkin Ring M60 (black hat; dark green coat; light green waistcoat; maroon scarf) Size: 3"H from: The Pickwick Papers
      5. Mr. Pickwick Napkin Ring M57 (black coat; yellow waistcoat; blue ascot; white collar; spectacles) Size: 3.5"H from: The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club (also known as The Pickwick Papers)

I love your set of Dickens napkin rings. Would you be interested in selling them? I am a writer and love everything about Dickens. Was at his London home this summer before going to Oxford to give a talk at an international conference on animal rights and spirituality. Ed Sellner
