I have seen these in a magizine before, but am not sure if they were called "penny" rugs or some kind of coin. All hand sewn. Maybe something to put on a table as a runner as it is fairly thin.
Would love to know something about it. It is in good shape- no moth holes and has been stored in a bag for years.
