my garden frog fetish... i'd love to know anything about any of these. i collect them, but i don't really know anything about them. the first one says 'made in japan' under it. the third one is VERY heavy and large - made of cement. the fiddler frog is iron filled with cement.

hi scand pieces. that's porcelain, i believe. it says 'made in japan' under it, so i assume this means it's after 1921.
thanks scand pieces. the first piece is really cool. unfortunately it has a big chip out of the rim on the other side. i've thought about trying to get it repaired, but it doesn't bother me anymore. unlike most collectors, i don't insist on perfect condition for things i collect, since the condition is just part of the history of an item and that's what is most interesting to me now. i get a chuckle when i think about a very high-end collector tossing the venus de milo in the trash for having broken arms!
that's great scand pieces! i'd never heard that one before.
I just LOVE ALL OF THEM!!! They are just sooooo CUTE!!!!1
thanks kathycat. i like them too.
hi ho2cultcha
you have some beautiful postings and a wealth of information left by you and the others on cw -- i also am particularly fond of these little critters -- your garden and all the settings/figurines looks very inviting -- very interesting research information you found on the mirrors
also want to thank you for taking the time to comment on my "spool threader" -- keeping my fingers crossed someone will recognize it
thank you epson233. what 'mirrors' are you talking about?
