    Hello,
I found these this afternoon. To get them I had to buy a stack of old dishes, all French and nice,.....but these were definitely the prize to me.
They look very old, I'd guess late 1800's?~made in Choisy, France by Hautin & Boulenger. Each features a scene of Uncle Tom, and are titled,
    ' l'Oncle Tom Livre a Halley ' and ' l'Oncle Tom Promene Eva Mourante '.
There was a lot of hemming and hawing before I could get a price for them, and I jumped at the reasonable figure finally arrived at.
They're close to 8 inches in diameter.
With the mark I thought they'd be easy to research,....but no. I couldn't find out a thing about them,( and probably don't have them in the correct category ),
    HELP!:)
    Thanks, Tonino

The plates are what the French call "assiette à dessert".
      So try:

      Kevin,
Thanks for the leads. I found many similar pieces listed under " assiette a dessert" .
I'll look into translating the other pages as well.
I hope you're having a dandy of a day down under.
