I purchased this lamp in a Gatlinburg Tennessee antique shop about 5-6 years ago. I don't know much about it other than I loved the second I saw it. It is 24" from base to top of fixture. Wood base is approx. 6" across and the lamp is approx. 15 1/2" across the center. The lamp may have started off as a vase , seems to be Japanese and made from porcelain with enamel and gold inlay?? The lamp assembly is a meteor with two sockets rated 250w-250v with pull chains. the cord was upgraded before I purchased it. I would appreciate any information at all on this interesting lamp.
