And while I'm on the subject of four-legged bowls, here's another I need help with! It was tentatively attributed to Loetz by the seller, but with no real belief. I certainly did not pay Loetz prices.
Those feet seem much more like Kralik to me, and the colour is somewhat reminiscent of the satin Kralik colours you see cased with opalescent glass. Just in case the photos don't show it though, this is very blue, delphinium colour, with no hint of purple or lavendar.
This piece, as you can see, is a single layer with a satin, softly iridised finish on the outside. The clear feet are not iridised. The outside is smooth and unribbed, the inside is octagonal, which makes for an interesting light effect, making it look almost striped.
