Really need some help on this one!! Really scored at an auction probably at least 10 years ago when I purchased a baggie that contained this pin, along with some other VERY collectable pin backs from the Golden age of comic books. Maybe I'm wrong and this has nothing to do with comics, but my gut tells me I'm right. The pin is 1 1/4" from tip of wing to tip of wing. The front of it is some material that does not attract a magnet, the pin part does. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks!!

No not comic book related. I believe this is a British WWII Home Front item. An award for sales of war bonds or money raising efforts to fund aircraft building. The AOC may stand for "Air Operations Center' but I am not 100% sure on that.
Thanks Militarist...did a couple quick searches, and came up empty. Will continue to search along those lines, but still have that feeling in my gut!! Maybe it's indigestion??? Thanks again...
