I remember buying the white plain dial watch at Thrifty Drug Store in California for $2. Mine might have been a little earlier, because I remember I was in the 6th grade, which would have been 1962 or '63. I still have it. I remember the little box, but don't remember if it had the same graphics on it. I was so proud of myself for buying myself a pocketwatch. A girl!
