Have been wondering what this old unusual Dairy related find is for. It is a metal soldered shut container almost full with a fluid. Was it possibly an early version of a cooler freezer packs that you find today made of plastic with the blue liquid in it ? I remember years ago bulk Ice Cream would come in a tall cardboard cylinder of approximately this diameter, would that be it's application if it is a cooling device ? The size is 9 3/8 x 1 1/2 inches.
