This along with the next few items are the additional things I got at that same sale. The lady sold this to me for $10, and I still think that is a great deal. Of course, I don't know very much at all about Depression glass so maybe someone can give me age and pattern again. I love this piece though, and it is heavy. I can't find one online that I can compare it to so someone with that knowledge enlighten me:).
I think this can also be a punch bowl because of checking out a beautiful piece that Alfredo has, he has a piece that is a punch bowl with a lid. My first inclination was that this was a punch bowl, but then I thought why would a punch bowl come with a lid. So then I thought soup tureen, which would explain the lid, but turns out it can still be a punch bowl.

HI, somehow I missed your note on my milk glass cake stands until now. I agree that this does appear to be a tureen and is a nice set, especially with the matching ladle. Form the color I'd guess 1960s or 1970s, but I not that familiar with this type of glass as I collect mostly EAPG.
Thanks Tallcakes for what you could tell me; I referred to you again because I remember a while back you helped me identify a depression glass pitcher I had. I love your cake stand collection too:).
