I've had this piece for five or six years now and I've never seen a duplicate for it. No makers marks. Unusual subject matter. The best guess I've had so far has been Oertel. I am guessing the date on this is 20's or early 30's. It's kind of like a black amethyst Tango in shape and the gilded lines but Tango is bright and cheery. This is like the goth version of it. (shuddup, yah damn happy hippies.. have some gloom!)
I still remember buying this piece though. the seller called it a "She" and it showed up covered in fleas. (True story) LOL.
One of the nastiest packages I've ever gotten.
