I bet this came in handy on the dairy farms. Hope everyone warmed their hands before applying, on those COLD days! If they did not, I bet it got very interesting down on the farm:-)

Neat post ! As a Farm girl that milked back in the day by hand in Northern climate they cows were never cold they came into barn to be milked and their bodies heated the barn . You wanted to get near the cow to get warm . No cold hands udders were warm . But we also washed them first with a big pail of water each cow got cleaned before milking . So our hands may get dried out before the cow with having our hands in the water so much . Milking was a fond memory and ya have to throw in a few cats hanging around hoping some milk missed the pail and they could get a free drink . :-)

Oh yes any of us that lived on farm have many stories to tell. That kind of life style will soon be forgotten to high tech computer cows next :-) Glad you enjoyed my walk down memory lane :-)

That stuff is good for the hands too! We had beef cattle but sometimes you would have to hand milk a cow, when a calf wouldn't suck, or the cow got mastitis.
      AKA udder balm, bag balm

Thanks for the info walksoftly. I can see it being good for the hands and mastitus. Seems to be a good all around product.
