I found this grungy folding chair in an antique shop and knew it was mine. It is so unusual. When I got home and did the research on it, I found out it's a Leg-O-Matic chair made for Airstream trailers. They came in sets including a folding table, which I still need to find.
It was filthy dirty, so I did a makeover on it and you can see how wonderful it cleaned up!
I found a second one with a different design on the back. I wasn't going to buy it because it was in terrible shape but it called to me. When I got it home, I realized the seat wasn't as bad as I had first thought, someone along the way had covered the seat with contact paper!! LOL! I removed that and it was back to the original seat, however, they painted the chair and I haven't decided if I'll leave it that way or try to get it back to the original color.

I don't know wheen I first saw one of these, but 3 years ago when I spotted a folded stack stashed under other furniture at an antique shop, I knew instantly what they were, except I did not know they were made for Airsteam!
