I received this ring with many other items from a relative recently. I believe it's platimun seeing as it's marked "PT950". I cannot however figure out the makers mark inside. I would assume the stones are real sapphire and diamonds due to the fact the band is platinum? I don't believe this is a very old ring but then again I have no basis for that assumption. Any and all help identifying this ring will be greatly appreciated.

Gorgeous ring! Good assumption on it being real diamonds and sapphires, I have yet to see any platinum jewellery with crystals or synthetics in it. Worth a pretty penny I'm sure, it looks heavy!
There is a seems to be makers mark or a designer logo on there, can't say I recognize it but if you have an idea of when it might have been purchased, and where if possible, it may give hints. Also, I haven't tried it yet, but apparently Google Goggles has an identification system for symbols and designs and such; you take a picture of a mark or logo and it 'looks it up'. Might be worth a try!
Thanks for the ideas Luisa. I've been scouring the internet trying to find anything that looks similar but to no avail. I just looked into Goggle Goggles, it doesn't appear to be very precise. It only returned basic similar looking photos (blue sky with clouds etc). The makers mark on the ring to me looks like "4cr" or something alone those lines. I've reached for that but nothing. As for knowing when the wring was purchased, I am afraid I won't be able to ever find that out. I doesn't appear to be very old though. I appreciate the help and will continue wracking my brain, trying to figure this out!
hm, well good to know I'm not missing out on much with Google Goggles. Thats too bad, some pieces are so tricky to investigate. But still nice to own little mysteries : )
