1874 1 Dollar Gold coin. Called the Indian Princess Head (Large Head) Type 3. Before 1856 the head was much smaller. As you can see at the top of the coin is a bit of solder. Someone Pre Jimbo apparently wore this coin as a necklace. It detracts from the value of this coin but i like it regardless. I have seen many coins of this era with that very same bit of solder.
