Art Deco Period - Polish Artist Zofia Stryjenska.
I have been holding onto these 5 period prints from about 1929 for the last 20 + years. They are from her Dance Collection from 1927. She made booklets/reprints from original - in about 1929... which I believe these are from. There is alot of information about her on the net, but not a whole lot of these. These are much larger than a letter sized paper.
I received these from a widow condo clean-out about 20+ years ago, along with a 1915 Hudson River valley oil painting on board, among others. These were most likely picked up by the lady and her husband during travels abroad in the 40's or 50's. They lived near the beach area of this town, so I wouldn't doubt that they had access and, of course the ability to purchase art that they liked. I have 5 out of the 11 that were in the collection. It looks like they were framed at one point due to the old glue spots, but probably can be matted and reframed one day:-)
