These are very cool - aside of phone use, the shells could be smoke domes, hence they could be for oil lamps or candle lamps.....just a thought.....
Wow! Ihave been collecting Art Deco Ladies for over 35 years and have never seen anything like this. How did you end up with two? It looks like they are lamps with the bulb hidden under the shell? Any ideal of value?
