This poster and card for a show at the Fillmore in San Francisco in July of 1966 is widely thought to be the first, true psychedelic poster. When I asked Wes Wilson about that in our interview with him, he did not dispute it, but he credits a printing glitch that left little white lines around the letters for the look of the poster.
