Ever find what you are looking for? The lovely Iittala Archipelago by Timo Sarpeneva, candle stick has been on my hit list for a while. I want the whole set but know that the tall boy, about a foot (!) is a toughy to find. So I was heading home, and had a few spare minutes. Hey why not hit the neighbor SA? There he was, lying on his side waiting for me. Love at first sight. I scoured the place for his friends but no go. I even asked a gal who works there, who I am friendly with, who was putting out stuff if there was any more, nada.
Now I have the uber panic that they will be put out while I am not there!
I have a small window tomorrow to zoom through...AHHHHHH!!!!

As Doris sang to a generation : Que sera, sera! Think positive and the objects will find you, rather than the other way round. Ommmm!
    Nice one Amber!

Of Arkipelago, I can say only this, Amber: Something parallel. A parallel universe co-existing with ours on another dimensional plane. Everything's duplicated, almost. That's the beauty of it! That's what aids our search for that missing item in our collections.

Congratulations, very nice. I have owned a very tall one, but I found it was a little unsteady. So that went to someone else! Thank you for sharing.

well, "the others" will come out eventually... I must warn you, there's different shapes (square, round and triangle shaped bases, plus some other rare ones) and different sizes as well... so expect a dozen new Arkipelagos to come out;)

Ha ha Austro, you really know how to increase my want list. I first thought this might be a fake because it was triangular but some quick research kept me from disappointment.
eye4 Yep exactly, completely and utterly true! Don't forget to look in the drawers of the furniture!
Lass, thank you. I am thrilled to report that mine is wobble free.
I am going to do a super quick pass today as I come home from work. We are going bicycling this weekend in Indiana. (Pumpkin vine, a rails to trails bike event...my Uncle helped found it) I need to get home so we can start driving...can't unless I make just a quick trip...

UPdate. Nothing. Nada. Niet. Zero. Zilch...total bummer. I was hoping for lightening to strike.
Thank you all for the loves. I am still really in love with this piece.

You will find what you're looking for - who knows, you might even keep it! Despite the fact that adding you to my 'follow' list will take a toll on my browser, I decided that I had to do it when I checked in this morning and saw all those glorious items you just posted - items I missed by following you manually. Bravo on your recent finds!

Well thank you miKKo. I will try to make the browser nabbing worth it.
I am going on vacation this weekend, so you will be able to ease into it ; )

This is wonderful, I wonder how well it would stand up on those revolving lighted bases for crystal. I have some extremely large paperweights with the same fascinating glass explosion design on the inside, as if they are boiling over, a piece
that deserves pride of joy !~Phil.
