Back up and running after my 9 day old MacBook Pro decided to Quit!
My son convinced me to by a Mac because they won't have problems!
Anyway thought I would try a new post to check it out.
This is a Tremont Watch Co. (1864-1866), started by A. L. Dennison in Boston, Mass. in 1864. In May of 1865 the first movements were ready for market. They ware 18 size, key wind & key set, 7-15 jewels and movement engraved, "Tremont Watch Co." In late 1866 the company moved to Melrose and changed to The Melrose Watch Co.(1866-1868) and produced about 3,000 watches with movements marked "Melrose Watch Co." and dials still marked Tremont Watch Co.
This watch is marked Tremont Watch Co. Boston, on movement and dial with serial number 4859.
