To illustrate a show at the Avalon Ballroom called the Dance of the Five Moons, Feb 1967, Victor Moscoso incorporated five moons into the design. Headliner was Country Joe and the Fish. A band called The Sparrow was the opener. They changed their name to Steppenwolf the next year when their hit "Born To be Wild" came out.
